Kathryn Adamo, (M.A.M.S.)

For over twenty years, Kathryn has raised funds and built a deeper awareness of the mission and vision for faith-based charities and non-profit organizations.

To assist her fundraising work and provide the high-level support her clients seek and require, Kathryn obtained a master’s degree in Ministry and Spirituality (MAMS) from the University of Toronto, Regis College – Jesuit graduate facility of theology.

Since that time, she has worked with over 35 faith-based charities and non-profit organizations, most recently as Executive Director of the L’Arche Canada Foundation and Senior Development Officer of Hospice Toronto and Romero House with a focused emphasis on building donor relationships.

Kathryn has extensive experience in growing fund development teams in small shop organizations especially with conducting major donor prospect research, grant prospect research, identifying matching foundation criteria, initiating conversations and face-to-face meetings, authoring grant applications, connecting with the organizations, and writing annual reports for those foundations who have financially supported the organization.

Miguel Hortiguela

As a Freelance Photographer and solopreneur for over thirty years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing people and places from the Hudson Bay coast to the Andes in Peru. Whether quickly befriending the CEO of a large corporation on Bay Street or coaxing a smile from a timid child in the playground, social skills matter.

As a self-taught photographer, managing one’s own business requires focused self-discipline.  I derive my tenacity from a curiosity and patience that drives me to learn new skills and look for solutions rather than be overwhelmed by unexpected challenges.

In addition to my photographic experience, I have also designed, built and maintained several websites using WordPress.  It’s been said that a picture is worth a thousand words.  However, as true as that may be, sometimes it takes words to tell the whole story.  My ease with words combined with my eye for design, come together naturally when developing websites that help to promote the client’s services.

Underlying my personal approach to completing projects is a strong social conscience and my preference for working collaboratively.  I have, for several years, volunteered with Habitat For Humanity GTA, CUSO abroad and with a small group of acquaintances have, over the winter months, participated in a Sandwich Run handing out Brown Bag Lunches to those in need.
